Stillife with Copper Pot

This stillife was done in the method that Michael Siegel taught, with layers and very careful, methodical strokes. Something new to me. I especially like the pot, looks really like copper! Oil, 2006.

Dieses Stilleben ist in der methodischen, langsameren Weise gemalt, die Michael Siegel in seinem Workshop gelehrt hatte. Nicht ganz meine Sache, doch der Endeffekt ist nicht schlecht, vor allem der Kupferkessel sieht auch wirklich sehr "kupfern" aus.

Stillife with Bottle

Done in the same workshop, my first setup with my method and strong colors. The bottle looks really great. The highlight on the glass is perfect!

Stillife with Pitcher

One of my first stillifes. Done in a workshop at the Art League with Michael Siegel in 2006. This was my usual technique with fast-laid brushstrokes, alla prima, no layering. Done in about 2 hours from life. Gift to my parents.
