It's Windy!!!

It was super windy today, I couldn't even set up the easel, we had windgusts of up to 40mph. So I parked and painted in the car. This is a shrimp boat docked by the Dunlawton Bridge. 8"x10", oil on masonite, 1 hour, limited palette. $300.
Heute war es sehr stuermisch, ich konnte nicht mal meine Staffelei draussen aufbauen. Ich malte also im Auto, was ziemlich bequem ist. Ein Shrimp-Boot in Port Orange, gemalt in 1 Stunde.

I notice the red tone is gone !! Did you use a different base color ?? Looks very nice.

Yes, I painted this on white board. I tried to start on a red-tone board, but it didn't work out, so I switched to the white. Seems to work better for the water paintings....

I agree with the white board the water paintings look more "real" and crisp. Definitely the way to go !!
