Morning at Halifax Drive, Port Orange

Before it got too hot, I went by the Halifax river in Port Orange and painted these Victorian-style houses from across the street under the shade of a palm tree. It was about 90 degrees at 10am, but I finished it quite quickly, as usual. It was very idyllic, very little traffic and birds fishing in the river behind me. 8x10, masonite, ultra, burnt sienna, yellow ochre and white. $300.

Lovely, it seems quiet complex but you maneged to simplify it very well.

Good job!

why this limited palette?

Limited palette? Because it's so much easier! And I love the color combination. I think those colors work great together. Do you agree?
