Venetian Bay Art Festival

I'm back! It was fun, but also exhausting! The weeks before the festival we had high humidity and temps in the mid-90s, and on the first day of the festival it dipped down to a high of 67. The wind from the nearby lake didn't help matters. My original setup was by the wall (see first photo), but after a couple of hours of being chilled to the bone my fellow artists helped me to move out into the sun, where it was more bearable.

Here is my setup in the sun. Sunday was a bit warmer, and brought a few more people. It wasn't as well visited as the last couple of years, I heard. It was fun, though, and I met some great people again.

Sunday afternoon I painted with my neighbor artist Suzanne a view down the promenade. Thank you to all who braved the cold and came out to stroll around and view our artwork!

Thanks Jim,
yes, I agree, hard work, but fun too. Not sure if I'm gonna do a lot more, at least not this year...
