Tada! Here is the finished painting, after improving 3 or 4 spots at home. I believe it captures the architecture and the hot morning. 8x10, oil on canvas. $300.
Und hier ist das vollendete Gemaelde, nachdem ich ein paar Stellen heute verbessert habe. Ich glaube, dass ich die Architektur und den heissen Morgen gut eingefangen habe. Oel auf Leinwand Platte, 20x25cm.

Although I love it, I have two suggestions if you don't mind.
1. The picture is some what small, you hardly can see what you've been doing.
2. I like the shade and trees in the foreground on the setup photo, ... maybe a thought for the next time?
But again a nice work, complex and well painted. A tribute of the house.
Thanks Rene. yes, the house was complex enough, and I leave the "framing with foliage" to the photographers. I always think it looks cliche in a painting.
I assume your first comment is about the setup photo. I just wanted to show the scene, to illustrate my text. Probably should have waited til I was ready to post the final result at the same time.
