I finally had some time to join the Tuesday Plein Air Group again and did some paintings in the new "wild acrylic underpainting" style.
A couple of weeks ago we went to Cassadaga between Orlando and Daytona Beach. Wikipedia says: It is especially known for having a large number of psychics and mediums, and has consequently been named the "Psychic Capital of the World"

Ich hatte nun endlich wieder Zeit, mit der Plein Air Gruppe am Dienstag zu malen, und konnte wieder meine "wilde" Akryl Untermalung verwenden.
Vor einigen Wochen fuhren wir nach Cassadaga (zwischen Orlando und Daytona Beach). Wikipedia schreibt, dass das Dorf beruehmt ist fuer seine grosse Anzahl von Psychische Mediums, und wird nun das "Psychic Capital of the World" genannt. (In fast jedem Haus kannst du dir die Zukunft sagen lassen).

Einige von uns malten im Dorfzentrum neben der Post, und ich malte diese Strassenszene ueber meine farbenfreudige Akryl-Untermalung.

Last week we drove to Osteen to the Beck Ranch Park, where we had a big group, most of us painting the old slaughterhouse and silo. There were great live oaks with Spanish moss, and I could finally try my hand on those, since I usually avoid those trees as they are hard to capture.
Letzte Woche trafen wir uns in Osteen im Beck Ranch Park, wo wir eine grosse Gruppe hatten. Die meisten malten das alte Schlachthaus und Silo. Es gab tolle Eichen mit Spanischem Moos, und ich konnte nun endlich mal diese einzigartigen Baueme probieren, da ich diese normalerweise vermeide.
